Collin Hunter is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with nearly two decades of experience in real estate, private lending, and mortgage banking. He began his career as a loan officer in 2006 and soon expanded into property acquisition, private capital deployment, and small-scale development. By 2008, he had built a portfolio of rental properties and was originating bridge loans using personal and pooled funds. During the financial crisis, he joined Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU), where he led the mortgage division to become the market leader in Eastern Idaho. In 2016, he founded his own mortgage banking firm and later rejoined ICCU under a custom arrangement that restored their top market position. Since 2021, Mr. Hunter has focused full-time on real estate development and private capital ventures. He and his team have successfully completed a large-scale townhouse project and invested in several operating businesses, including insulation, plumbing, and cabinetry firms—all of which have delivered strong returns. He helped start and is one of the founders and founding board members of a very successful public charter school called Alturas Academy in Idaho Falls.  He is also the co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Foundation, a 501C3 nonprofit organization, supporting humanitarian efforts inside and outside the United States.
